The calendar won't let me select the dates I require my animals to stay for, does this mean you are full?If you can't select the dates you require your animals to come and stay for we are either full or closed for that period. In a few instances, we may have space as the booking system enables Hug A Bunny Hotel to split the stay over a few hutches/enclosures that you as a customer cannot select so it's always worth double-checking with us to see if we can do this.

My Rabbit will be vaccinated by the time our holiday comes round but not at the time of booking how do I ensure I can set up my profile without having the vaccination certificate?Ensure you have selected that your rabbit is vaccinated when you set up your profile, put in the date when your next vaccination is due and upload a copy of a blank bit of paper, please do however ensure that the actual vaccination is uploaded prior to your stay.

What happens if my animal gets ill whilst staying at Hug A Bunny Hotel?At Hug A Bunny Hotel we care for every animal as if they were our own. Any sign of a change in behaviour we will immediately try to make contact with the owners. At the same time we will make our way to our preferred vet, who specialises in treating small animals. All vets fees due are to be paid in full by the owners, as per our T&C's.

Do I need to bring my own water and food bowls?All food and water bowls/bottles will be provided by Hug A Bunny Hotel, unless you have specific requirements and prefer to bring your own. We take no responsibility should these items get damaged or broken. It will be your responsibility to remember them as you collect your animal

What food do you provide at Hug A Bunny Hotel for Rabbits and Guinea-Pigs?We use Science Selective and Burgess Excel as our preferred food of choice for rabbits and guinea-pigs. We also supply Forage and treats from our shop.

How frequently will the hutch/enclosure be cleaned out during my animals stay at Hug A Bunny Hotel?All cages are fully cleaned every other day but spot cleaned everyday, sometimes more frequently if required.

Why does my rabbit require to be vaccinated prior to it's stay at Hug A Bunny Hotel?All rabbits require to be fully vaccinated for Myxomatosis and Combined RHD prior to their stay at Hug A Bunny Hotel for their and other rabbits health and wellbeing. If proof of vaccination status cannot be proved your animal boarding may be cancelled.

What should I do if I'm running late to pick up or drop my animal off?Please call us on +44 7890 989 575 as soon as you know you are going to be late. We ask that you arrive at your allotted pick up or drop off time as per your confirmation email.

What types of hay/grass do you use at Hug A Bunny Hotel?We use 3 different types; Fresh Meadow hay (which we also sell), Timothy coarse and soft cut hay and Readigrass.

During cold weather how do you keep the animals warm?At Hug a Bunny we have 3 hotels each set at different temperatures for your pets requirements. Wonky Warren is our unheated hotel for outside living guests although it is still fully insulated and has a heater to keep it above freezing. We also supply heat pads for them extra chilly days! Meadow View is our fully heated climate controlled bunny hotel, suitable for house rabbits. Fully insulated and double glazed. Piggie Paradise is our fully heated climate controlled piggie hotel, suitable for indoor Guinea Pigs. Fully insulated and double glazed. This is also where we have space for hamster/gerbil cages.

During hot weather how do you keep the animals cool?All 3 of our Hotels have cooling fans, and if necessary we add ice pods to each enclosure. Due to all our Hotels being well insulated, this helps with keeping it cool inside for our guests. For extreme hot periods, we monitor temperatures on an hourly basis and regularly check in on each guest day and night.

Is there a required minimum amount of days in order to book my animal?No we don't have a limit on stay, we have had day visitors in the past so everyone is welcome no matter how long the stay.
