There is nothing better as a rabbit lover than to watch your rabbits groom each other and snuggle up together. Rabbits are are emotional animals and they crave the companionship of their own kind. However bonding rabbits is not always as straightforward as many people think. It can be a very stressful experience for both rabbits and their owners. It is not just as simply as putting them in the same hutch, hoping that they will get on.
Often when rabbits are first introduced to each other they can show some form of aggression or dominance. With the right knowledge most of the time this can be turned around and end in a happy relationship.
We love nothing more then to help them to their happy ending . More often than not owners intervene too quickly or panic and flap and pass there anxiety on to the ‘bonding’ pair, resulting in a failed bonding. This is one of the reasons we offer the bonding service to help, as every bunny needs some-bunny to love.. right?
We have a Honeymoon suite and this is where the bonding pair will go for the last two nights to make sure they are happy and married before setting home. Bonding can take from 1 week to 3. But we always know within the first 48 hours whats what.
Bonding service is £12 per day/night.
